Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter after she appeared in the series One Tree Hill. She was Alex for three of its last four seasons. The show featured her debut albums as country music and helped propel her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was her follow-up album and climbed to Number Ten. The decade came to an end with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music. She would later make a record career, but she began her professional life acting as an actress, appearing on screen in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teen years. After appearing as a guest on All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's role as a regular in NBC Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season, 2007-2008. Kramer next appeared in 90210 in the role of Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined One Tree Hill's cast as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until about midway through the final season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011, she premiered the modern music video for the love song of a country singer I Won't Give Up. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was released on her debut full-length album Jana Kramer. It reached the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. In the following years she focused her acting career on film and music. She starred in several films such as Heart of the Country 2013 as well as Country Crush 2016, which was a hit with her fans. Kramer has released her second studio album, Thirty One in collaboration with Warner Music Nashville, in October of this year. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead vocalist, singing a duet on her album make it to the top ten spot on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two-month stint on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars ended with a 4th place finish. That same year, the song Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser was an enormous adult contemporary success.
